Hey all,
I am having a problem with my Mimaki printer ,
when it prints on translucent media printing spot colors,
the print has irregular pattern with each swipe.
I am printing 8 pass 720 x 720 with heat set to 30/30
printer inks are ss2 mimaki brand.
The printer is Dual cymk fill.
Does anyone here experienced similar problems.
It only occurs with spot colors, for example cyan.
The swipes appear inconsistent in color saturation, it is not the bending issue. It looks like 2 swipes will show consistent saturation when 3 , 4 or 6th maybe slightly brighter in color, it resembles zebra pattern.
It also occurs while printing on regular vinyls with spot color.
My technical support is hopeless I can not get any resultion from the company where I bought the printer from, It is a brand new model.
Can anyone relate to this or guide me where could I obtain any help regarding this issue.
