using word 97 on win98 and i can't seem to get it to change defaults to a another printer. i select the printer in file 'print' then under 'properties' click on default (it's an HP600 printer). it seems to be stuck on a canon-bjc-80 printer. thanks!

Does this happen with every document ? Only in Word ? If so, try deleting the canon and rebooting the PC.
If that doesn't work, I would delete the HP600, reboot and reinstall it.

If that doesn't work, give more info.
