In our application we need to get data from the printed document and update our database. Please let me know if is it possible. Thanks

Yes, this is possible. If you use Miraplacid Text Driver, you may to set it up to use post-processor (http://www.miraplacid.com/mtd/doc/scripting.shtml) which will pick up generated file and save it (or its parts) to a database.
